What do AI and summer camp have in common? A good question, which will be answered when you join us at the Goldstein Group Communications’ Summer Marketing Camp on August 21!

To kick off the 2020 Marketing Planning Season, we'll have Scott McAfferty, co-founder and managing partner of WTWH Media, on hand to speak about how artificial intelligence is being used within marketing to reach current and prospective customers by creating programs that align with users’ content affinities to drive ROI though. AI in  marketing is a hot topic these days. You may find it either fascinating, or frightening, depending on how you look at marketing technology overall.

AI for marketing is in its early stages, and tech tool developers certainly promise that their tools -- predictably -- will have a great deal of impact in how marketers find leads, nurture them, and convert them into customers. At the end of the day, AI promises to drive two initiatives forward that form the core of B2B marketing:

- Lower the cost of marketing

- Make content and outreach more relevant

At a time when millennials and Generation Z are DEMANDING that companies communicate to them in ways that are personalized and tailored, AI provides an affordable, scalable path for doing just that. Improved search, data-driven content, automatically-generated content and AI-driven ad decision-making all are some of the early-adopter tools we're seeing on the market.

WTWH Media is one of the early adopters of AI as well, and they'll be on hand to showcase how they're applying AI to improve performance for their advertisers while improving the content experience for their readers.

Content Affinity Targeting

  • Target by topic across WTWH’s network of sites
  • Personalized offers based on content affinity

Intent Based Marketing

  • Target users outside of the WTWH network who are searching for specific intent topics across the internet while at work
  • Narrow down reach by industry, title, geography or company size

Account Based Marketing

  • Target your key prospects with digital display ads based on companies on your target account list

There will also be time to interact with GGC staff, whether you’re seeing old friends or putting faces to names for the first time. Our usual assortment of food trucks will provide everything from apps to dinner to dessert.

Oh, and Joel will say a few words too!
