Maybe so.  During a meeting with a client recently, he shared with me a question he uses
work eithicswhenever he interviews a job candidate:  what chores did you do when you were growing up?  He believes that those who grew up having household responsibilities have better work ethics at his company.  They have a sense of shared responsibility, accountability and less of a sense of entitlement than those who grew up without the daily chores list.  I’ll be sure to try that on my next few interviews!
